Climate Change is a Health Crisis. Be the Solution.
*** UPDATE! ***
February 2026
We have had an exciting 2025-2026 acaedmic year!
For the 2026-2027 cohort, we have officially merged the Health Impact of Climate Change program with its sister program, Sustainability in Health. Over the past academic year, we found that the significant overlap in themes allowed for a much richer, more collaborative environment when both cohorts worked together.
The Health Impact of Climate Change will remain a core pillar of the new curriculum. We will continue to cover these critical intersections across all modules, from food systems and urbanization to specific clinical outcomes like lung and kidney health.
Please visit the Sustainability in Health Master's program website for more details on enrollment and other information.
The international online HEALTH IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE Master's degree combines environmental and health sciences to train professionals who can address the complex challenges of climate change on human health. Gain the knowledge and skills to assess risks, develop adaptation strategies, and improve processes and behaviors within healthcare systems, public entities, and related industries.
A NEW FIELD IS EMERGING. Climate change represents one of the most pressing challenges of our time, affecting not only natural ecosystems, but also socio-economic conditions and human health globally. As temperatures rise, weather patterns alter and the frequency of extreme climate events increases, a direct and profound impact on individual and public health emerges. Infectious diseases, pollution, heat waves and other climate-related factors put the health of vulnerable populations at risk, making an integrated and informed approach to addressing these issues crucial.
The entire program is online. Organized by the Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences at the University of Turin, Italy, and managed by COREP.
